FEBRUARY 2012
A 17 year old male from Morgantown, WV was cited for under age consumption of alcohol, public drunkenness, harassment and disorderly conduct following an incident at Sheetz on 02/06/2012.
Retail theft- Issac Lilley of Ceadarwood Drive in Carmichaels was cited for retail theft following an incident at Sheetz on 02/09/2012. Police were called after Lilley
reportedly removed beef jerky from the store without paying.
Underage Drinking- Richard Gilbert of Willow Ave Altoona PA was cited for underage consumption of alcohol following an incident at 218 Parkview Knoll on 02/14/2012.
Furnishing Alcohol- Zacharey Coger of Crucible was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors following an incident a Parkview Knoll on 02/14/2012.
DUI- Ronald McMasters Jr. of Parkview Knoll was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, open containers, and accidents involving damage to unattended property following an incident at Cumberland Village on 02/18/2012.
JANUARY 2012
Traffic Offenses- Cundy Yeager, 41 of Waynesburg was cited for driving while liscense is under suspension, following a traffic stop on 12/26/2011.
Traffic Offenses- Randy Courtwright, 19 of Carmichaels was cited for maximum Speed limits following a traffic stop on 12/29/2011.
Fradulent Registration- Tyler Gump, 20 of Ohio was cited for fraudulent use or removal of a registration plate, following a traffic stop on 12/26/2011.
Under the Influence- Tracey Bell, 31 of Spraggs, Pa was charged with DUI, after Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on State Route 88.
Suspended License- Jason Basinger, 28 Of Greensboro was cited for operating a vehicle while license is suspended or revoked following a routine traffic stop on 01/02/2012.
Simple Assault- Belinda Cumberland, 31 of Crucible was charged for Harassment and simple assault on 01/02/2012, after Officers were called to the Crucible Citizens Club for a disturbance. Cumberland was arraigned by Magistrate Lee Watson and placed in the Greene County Jail in lieu of a $5,000.00 straight cash bond.
Disorderly Conduct- Dana Pulliam, 25 of Pittsburgh and Benjamin Criswell, 31 of New eagle , PA were charged with disorderly conduct, after found in the possession of a controlled substance folowing a traffic stop on 01/07/2012.
Traffic Citation- Ryan Neel, 36 of Carmichaels was cited for running a stop sign on Dawlin Street in Carmichaels on 01/07/2012.
Under the Influence- Wayne Mauck, 20 of Greensboro was charged with DUI, after Officers were patrolling the area.
Disorderly Conduct- Jerry Stewart, 29 of Nemacolin was charged with Disorderly Conduct after Officers were called to an overdose on Grant Street in Nemacolin on 01/10/2012.
Suspended Driver- Bobby Willy, 31 od Carmichaels was cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked following a traffic stop on 01/11/2012.
DECEMBER 2011
Suspended Driver- Brett Davis, 23 of Carmichaels was cited for Driving while license is suspended and running a red light, after Officers were conducting a traffic stop on 12/13/2011.
Suspended Driver- Danny Litton, 58 of Riceslanding, PA was charged with DUI and Driving while operating privilege is suspended after Officers were on routine traffic patrol on 12/15/2011.
Harassment- George Forsythe II, 22 of Route 88 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels was charged with harassment after Officers were called to the residence on 12/17/2011.
License Required- Samantha Maust, 21 of Coffee Street, Uniontown was cited with Drivers required to be licensed while Officers were patrolling the area on 12/17/2011.
Welfare of a child- Stacey Cosgrove, 34 of West Groege Street in Carmicaels was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and permitting unauthorized person to drive stemming from an incident that occured on 11/24/2011. Cosgrove permitted a 14 year old to operate a vehicle that she was a passenger in along State Route 21. Charges were filed with Magistrate Lee Watson.
Terroristic Threats- Richard Broadwater, 42 of Pershing Blvd in Nemacolin was charged with terroistic threats and harassment following an incident at 422 South Eighty Eight Road on 11/19/2011. Broadwater reportedly threatened to shoot Allen Hager during a road rage incident. Charges were being filed with Magistrate Lee Watson.
DUI- Regina Gresko, 26 of West George Street, Carmichaels was charged with Driving Under the influence of Alcohol and other traffic violations. The charges are the result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 11-17-11 on Zavora Lane in Carmichaels. Charges were filed with Magistrate Lee Watson.
Two cited- Jeremy Kosik and Chad Moore, both of West Virginia were cited for scattering rubbish following an incident on State Route 21. The males were observed throwing food wrappers and other items from their vehicle. Charges were filed with Magistrate Lee Watson.
Lost Plate- A trailer plate belonging to Energy Corporation of America was reported lost on 12/08/2011. The plate XGB-2888 can be returned to the Cumberland Township Police Department or by contacting 724-966-8296.
Burglary- Officers responded to 122 Blakers Ridge Road on 12/08/2011 for a reported burglary. The residence is owned by Gino and Erin Virgili. Electronic items and firearms were reported missing. Anyone with information can contact The Cumberland Township Police Department at 724-966-8296.
Medications Stolen- Betty Forgen of 210 Wahula Road, Carmichaels reported prescription medication was taken from her residence on 12/09/2011.
DUI- Matthew Myers, 35 of Smithfield will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while liscense is suspended and a traffic violation following a traffic stop on Route 21 on 12/10/2011. Myers blood alcohol level was found to be 0.124%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%. Charges will be filed with Magistrate Lee Watson.
Vehicle Accident- No injuries were reported in a two vehicle collision on 12/10/2011 at the Carmichaels Arbors. A vehicle operated by Kendall Corso backed into a vehicle driven by Robert Snyder.
Assault- John Harden, 21 of Parkview Knoll, Carmichaels was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident on 12/11/2011. Harden reportedly assaulted a 17 year old female. He was arraigned before Magistrate Lou Dayich and placed in the Greene County Prison in lieu of $7,500.00 bond.
Assault- Belinda Cumberland, 30 of Fourth Ave in Crucible was charged with simple assault and harassment followinig an incident at 273 Fourth Avenue on 12/11/2011. Cumberland reportedly assaulted Robert Cumberland with an aersol can. She was arraigned before Magistrate Lou Dayich and placed in the Greene County Prision.
Drug Arrest- Eugene Scott Walker, 44, of Grant Street in Nemacolin was charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of cocaine. The Cumberland Township Police assisted the Greene County Drug Task Force and the Office of Attorney General in the 18 month investigation. Walker was arraigned before Magistrate Glenn Bates and placed in the Greene County Prision.
Vehicle Accident- No injuries were reported in two vehicle accident that occurred on Route 88 at Diamond Detailing on 12/01/2011, when a Chevy Impala driven by Janet Wotring cut a corner to close side swiping a Toyota Tacoma driven by Thomas McDermott
Vehicle Accident- No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident after a black Honda Accord driven my Shalen Varney, hit a guardrail after a vehicle pulled out in front of his vehicle.
Harassment- Barry Chambers, 55 of Carmichaels, PA was cited for harassment after Officers received a report of a male that had been threatened at the Chevron Well on Route 88 in Carmichaels.
Theft- Jeremy Dickey, 35 of Masontown, PA was cited for theft after a manager from Sheetz contacted Officers, after the manager observed Dickey place a bag of candy into the pocket of the sweatshirt he was wearing on 12/1/2011.0
DUI- Erik Randall Clark, 20 of Rogersville, PA was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on 12/01/2011.
Disorderly Conduct- Brian Phillips, 26 of New Freeport, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct for driving his vehicle backwards on a main road, and possession of an illegal substance, while Officers were patrolling the Crucible area.
Careless Driving- Cory Mcfann, 21 of Mt. Morris, PA was cited for Careless driving and duty to give information and render aid, after Mcfann did not report a vehicle accident to Police and left the scene prior to Officers arrival on 11/24/2011.
Suspended Driver-Marie Thomas, 42 of 215 Glad Run Road, Carmichaels, PA was cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked while Officers were patrolling the area of Route 21 on 12/03/2011.
Suspended Driver- Michael Ellis, 41 of Waynesburg, PA was cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked while Officers were patrolling the area of Route 21.
Valid License-Holly Teagarden- Casner, 25 of Waynesburg was cited for not possessing a valid drivers license, after Officers were conducting routine traffic stops on 12/03/2011.
NOVEMBER 2011
Altercation-Anthony Frasconi of Crucible was injured following an altercation at the Crucible citizens Club on 11-25-11. Frasconi was treated for injuries at a local hospital. Charges are pending in this case.
Harassment- Lilly Groom, 35 of Parkview Knoll of Carmichaels was cited for harassment following an altercation with Debbie Riggi in the 200 building on 11-23-2011.
Vehicle Accident- No injuries were reported in a one vehicle accident that occured on Rutters lane on 11-24-2011. A chevrolet S-10 driven by Cory McFann of Mt. Morris ran off of the roadway while attempting to miss an oncoming vehicle. This accident investigation is ongoing.
DUI- Amber Paschke,25 of Nemacolin Road, Carmichaels was charged with DUI and period for required headlamps following a traffic stop on 11-24-2011. Her BAC was later determined to be 0.161%.
Theft- Police are investigating a report of a theft that occured at the Carmichaels Beer Distributor on State Route 88 on 11-25-11. Two males entered the store and removed a case of Keystone beer before fleeing in this case.
Aggravated Assault- Jerry Murray, 25 of East Millsboro was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment following an altercation at 323 Vine Street in Carmichaels on 11-26-2011. Murray allegedly used a knife to assault Micah Kurincak of Carmichaels. Murray was arraigned before MDJ Bates and placed in thw Green County Prision in lieu of 20,000 bond.
Vehicle Accident- No injuries were reported in a two vehicle accident near the intersection of Sheetz on 11/28/2011. A vehicle driven by Kimberly Kelly of Dilliner collided with a vehicle driven by Russell Skiles of Carmichaels.
Stray Animals- Two stray dogs were located near 123 Bliss Avenue in Nemacolin on 11-26-2011. The dogs did not have liscences attached and were taken to the Greene County Humane Society.
Disorderly Conduct- Bille Jo Davidson, of Grant Street , Nemacolin was cited with Disorderly Conduct after Officers were called to the residence for a female taking to many perscription pills on 11/22/2011.
Passing Zone- Tyler Antonelli, 19 of Carmichaels was cited for passing in a no passing zone on 11/18/2011.
Driving Privilege- Larry Wiseman, 45 of Carmichaels was cited for driving while driving privileges were suspended on 11/18/2011.
Driving Privilege- James Jetton, 21 of Waynesburg was cited for driving while driving privileges were suspended on 11/18/2011.
Driving Privilege- Anthony Riggleman, 25 of Nemacolin was cited for driving while operating privilege was suspended on 11/22/2011.
Harassment- Lilly Grooms, 35 of 203 Parkview Knoll , Carmichaels was cited for harassment after Officers were called to the residence for a report of an argument that had taken place on 11/23/2011.
Criminal Mischief- Nancy Truntich of Rices Landing, reported that her residence was struck with paintballs sometime around 9:30 p.m on 11-14-2011. Any persons with informantion on the suspects, contact the police department.
Criminal Mischief- The Dairy Queen on West George Street was struck with paint balls on 11/17/2011.
Simple Assault- Walter Mitchell, 32, of 723 Dillie Road Prosperity Pa, was arrested on 11/16/2011 following an altercation at 503 Parkview Knoll. Mithell was charged with simple assault and harassment for reportedly striking Shannon Kennedy. Mitchell was arraigned by Magistrate Lee Watson and committed to the Greene County Prison.
Accident/ Non Injury- No injuries were reported in a one vehicle accident along Willis Road on 11/16/2011. A vehicle driven by John Smith of Fredericktown, swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and struck an enbankment.
Hit and Run- Thomas Cooley of Riverview Ave Crucible was charged following a hit and run accident on 11/10/2011. Cooley struck a vehicle parked on Fourth Avenue belonging to Eric Kaczmarczyk of Crucible and failed to stop at the scene.
Domestic Disturbance- On 11/11/2011, Ricki Booze, 38 of Crucible, PA was charged with Public intoxication after Officers were patroling the area and stopped to check the well being of the female.
Harassment- On 11/07/2011, Elizabeth Sine, 43 of 30 Cumberland Village was charged with Harassment after Officers were requested to respond to 21 Biddle Acre Road to meet with a female in reference to a pregnant woman being threatened.
Criminal Mischief- On 11/06/2011, James Thompson, 47 of Pittsburgh was cited with Criminal Mischief after Officers were call to 44 Bliss Avenue, Nemacolin for a report of someone kicking a door and causing damage to the glass area and to the metal frame.
Traffic Accident/ Non Injury- Jon Kennedy, 31 of Carmichaels was cited for operating a motorcycle without a MC License after Officers were dispatched to 512 South Market Street in Carmichaels for a motorcycle accident on 11/05/2011.
Public Drunk- On 11/07/2011, William Balint 51, of March Avenue, Nemacolin was cited for Public intoxication and Disorderly Conduct after Officers were dispatched to 198 March Avenue, Nemacolin for an intoxicated male threatening residents at the location.
Disorderly Conduct- Timothy Angelo, 28 of Leckrone was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief after Officers were called to 373 Sherman Avenue, Nemacolin for a dispute over a vehicle and destruction of property at the residence.
Public Drunk- Joshua Covert, 28 of Middlesux, Pa and Demetrius Burns, 28 of Presto, Pa were cited for Public Drunkenness after Officers were called to Boon Doc’s bar in Carmichaels for a report of a fight.
Retail Theft- James King, 22 of Cumberland Village, Carmichaels was cited for Retail Theft after Officers responded to Sheetz for a report of a theft of Pug sunglasses valued at $8.47.
Harassment- Heather Powell, 46 of Cumberland Village, Carmichaels was cited for Harassment after Powell was advised by Officers not to call the victim, Duane Powell.
Harassment- Roger Smith, 45 of Grant Street, Nemacolin was cited for Harassment after Officers responded to an incident involving four Juvenile children.
Criminal Trespass- Virgil Baker, 23 of Mount Morris, PA was cited with Criminal Trespass and Harassment after Baker did continue to remain inside of victims, Megan Berdines residence after being told to leave by the victim.
Public Drunkenness- Morris Earquhart, 39 of Uniontown was cited for Public Drunkenness after Officers responded to the Sheetz area for a report of a male causing a disturbance in the building.
Forgery/ Theft- Samantha Mansberry, 26 of East George Street, Carmichaels was charged with Forgery and Theft after Officers received a report of two stolen checks wrote out to Mansberry in the amount of $250.00.
Simple Assault- Larry Conard, 62 of Route 21 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels was charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after Officers were called to the residence for a report of a Domestic Disturbance.
October 2011
Vehicle Accident- Danielle Bowlen, 24 of Rices Landing was cited for safe speeds after Offers were dospatched to Woodrings Road for a report of a motor vehicle into a home on 10/07/2011.
David Dillow, 67, of Nemacolin was charged with Public Drunkenness, burglary, Disarming Law Enforcement Officer, Terroristic threats, Indecent Assault, Resistinf Arrest and Disorderly Conduct after Officers were called to Wood Avenue, Nemacolin for an individual entering the residence that would no leave after being advised to do so on 10/05/2011.
Disturbance- Dannye Irwin 35, of McClellandtown and Charles Lakbaugh of Masontown were charged with Disorderly Conduct after Officers were dispatched to Route 21 MHP for a fight in progress on 10/10/2011.
Public Drunkenness- Crystal Hartman, 31, of Uniontown was charged with Public Drunkenness after Officers were called to Boon Doc's in Carmichaels for a report of a female who refused to leave the property on 10/08/2011.
Disorderly Conduct- Donald Ross,36, of Carmichaels was scharged with disorderly conduct after Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Village for a report of an overdose.
Disorderly Conduct- Jeffery Balazick, 30, of Carmichaels was charged with disorderly conduct, recklessly endangering another person, public druckenness, DUI, and careless driving after Officers were patrolling the area and noticed a disturbance in the parking lot of Boon Doc's , Carmichaels on 10/03/2011.
Resisting Arrest- Andrea Striker, 25, of Carmicaels was charged with resisting arrest, DUI, and carring drivers liscence on demand after while Officers were patrolling the area, conducting traffic stops.
Arrest Warrant- Chad Jordan, 31, of Rices LAnding was charged with DUI, Possession of a controlled substance, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and taken into custody after Officers discoverd there was an active warrant for Jordans arrest out of Monongalia County on 10/20/2011.
Disorderly Conduct- Jeff Samek, 28, of Rices Landing was charged with disorderly conduct after Officers were called to Crucible road for a report of a possible overdose on 10/10/2011.
Harassment- Shane Baker, 26, of Crucible was cited for harassment after Officers were called to 272 Fourth Avenue, Crucible for a report of a domestic on 10/14/2011.
Public Drunkenness- Christopher Nair, 23, of McClellandtown, was charged with public drunkenness and open container after Officers responded to the Sheetz area for a report of an intoxicated male on 10/15/2011.
